The Ari's Text

And know that just as there is a first Ruach [spirit] in the discernment of MAN [Mayin Nukvin], so there is a first Ruach that her husband casts into her in the secret of the Zivug [coupling] of the first kisses — for these, too, are called a Zivug. And that first Ruach from the first kisses remains forever in the mouth of the female, in the Yesod of her mouth, which is her tongue; and it remains there for the need of the other Zivugim of kisses from then onward, in the way mentioned regarding the first Ruach of the MAN.

1The coupling of the first Neshikin [kissing], etc.: This will be explained below in its place. Its root is drawn from the new light that broke through the Parsa and descended and illuminated the GAR of Nekudim through the Tabur of AK, and brought the bottom Hey down from the Einayim of the Keter of the Nekudim to the Peh, and returned it to AVI, to the Rosh, as explained in Part 6. And it resembles, in all its ways, the coupling of the Yesodot, whose source is from the light that the Yesod of AK illuminated to the Peh of AVI of Nekudim. Therefore the matter of the first Ruach, and all that was said above regarding the Nukva, applies both to the discernment of the coupling of the Yesodot and to the coupling of the Neshikin.
