The Ari's Text

And we find that the main part revealed of this drop is the Yud-Hey-Vav of the Heys, which is 42, as mentioned, and within it the other two names Yud-Hey-Vav are clothed. Therefore this is the secret of the Mayin Duchrin [male waters] that go out from the palate, which is the Yesod of the Hochma of Arich Anpin, to the female, the throat of Arich Anpin, who is the Malchut of Hochma, and she is the Bina of the whole Partzuf of Arich Anpin. And these are the 42 couplings mentioned at the beginning of the introduction to the Book of Genesis; see there.

1The throat of Arich Anpin, who is the Malchut of Hochma, and she is the Bina of the whole Partzuf of Arich Anpin: You already know that the upper does not bestow to the lower except from the discernment of its externality of Malchut (as above, page 913, the passage beginning ‘externality’). And from this discernment the throat is regarded as the Malchut of Mocha Stimaa. However, from its own discernment she is the Bina and SAG of the whole Partzuf.
