This is what is said in the Zohar, Torah portion Achrei Mot, page 85: that Bina alone is called mercy, but from her side judgments awaken. The meaning of “from her side” is from her sides, which are her back, which are the judgments; but she herself, in the aspect of her face, is mercy.
