Now, this Hey, in gematria, is three Heys, for the Yud of the filling becomes two Heys, and thus they are three Heys, since there are three lines in the form of the Hey. Therefore the first Hey is in her three lines of KHB, and therefore this Hey is simple and principal; but the Yud of the filling of the Hey divides into two Heys as above, and they are in her VAK: the one in her three lines of HGT, and the last Hey in her three lines of NHY. And corresponding to them there are three other Heys of externality.

Now so it is with all the Partzufim, that the Partzuf does not emerge from the discernment of the internality of the upper one — namely from the discernment of coarseness that is in the screen of its own structure — but from the discernment of externality, that is, the posterior of that discernment, meaning from a degree lower than the discernment of the screen of the upper one. If the screen of the upper one is phase three, the upper one does not couple for the sake of the lower one except with a screen of phase two, and so on in this manner, and this holds true for every upper and lower one, as above (page 898, the passage beginning “And one must,” see there). And from this you may infer also here, regarding Bina of SAG, that she likewise includes three Heys from the discernment of her posterior: the outer simple Hey is the discernment of the posterior of the four upper ones, and the two outer Heys in the filling of the outer Hey are the posterior of her VAK, which are at a lower discernment than the three Heys of her internality, which are the Katnut and Gadlut of the level of SAG of SAG. And remember, that here the ARI calls the name posterior by the name externality; however, they are one matter, namely to indicate that they are of a lower discernment than the coarseness of the screen in her own structure.
