And there is also for him the aspect of the Keter of ZA, for it is not included in the Mochin of Gadlut, for these Mochin are only the KHB of ZA. And further on, after the explanation of the Mochin, we shall explain the matter of the Keter. And understand these three aspects very, very well. And know that all these aspects are the Tzadi of the Tzelem, called Daat, as mentioned in the aforementioned discourse.

1All these discernments are the Tzadi of the Tzelem, called Daat: Meaning, that the Mem and Lamed of the Tzelem are the discernment of the upper AVI and YESHSUT, which are the discernment of Hochma and Bina themselves, and they in their own selves do not spread into ZA — only the discernment of the externality of the Lamed, called Tzadi, which is the discernment of Daat, as above in the words of the ARI (Part 11, item 137). And know that even at the time when he takes the GAR [first three] of the Mochin, which are those surrounding lights called Lamed and Mem, even then he takes only the discernment of Tzadi that is within these surrounding lights, namely the discernment of the Daat within them. And this is what he means, that all three discernments — which are VAK [six ends], GAR, and the Keter of the Mochin — are only the discernment of Tzadi of the Tzelem. Namely, as explained, that even at the time when he attains the GAR, which are the surrounding lights of Lamed and Mem, he takes only the discernment of the Tzadi within them. However, the discernment of the third, which is the Keter of ZA, is not reckoned to the self of ZA, as will be stated below.
2DTY [Daat-Tifferet-Yesod] clothes in the two joints of the Yesod of Tevuna, which are only two joints: Yesod, and Atara [crown] — and there the whole middle line of the Partzuf of the Tzelem stands closed: Meaning, as long as the Hassadim and Gevurot have not descended to the Yesod of ZA, and ascended from there in the secret of reflected light, etc., they are reckoned as closed, for the screen of the Yesod of Ima covers over them, in the discernment of her posterior, which pushes away the illumination of Hochma; and the revelation is not made except through the raising of MAN, after nine years and one day, as will be said below. And it is found that although all the inner and surrounding lights of the ten Sefirot of the Mochin of nursing spread in ZA before the time of nine years and one day, nevertheless the deficient ones are not revealed in him from the chest downward, and they remain standing in the Atara of the Yesod of Ima, which is in the place of the chest; therefore they are covered and closed from the revelation of the illumination of Hochma within them. As will be said below.
