However, in the Sefirot Hod, Yesod, and Malchut — for there were still in them parts fit to be made from them the Hod, Yesod, and Malchut of ZA, and they were not clarified completely — therefore this dross did not go out in the secret of the blood of birth, for the sparks of the parts of ZA are still mixed in them, and they need to be clarified. Therefore their dross remained within Ima, to be clarified in the secret of the milk.
