*ZA had in him at first, in the days of the kings, VAK, and within them Mochin of Nefesh of the externality of the NHY of Ima, when he was born before the correction. And afterward they broke and separated, and the lights of the NHY rose upward, while the VAK of the vessels descended below, to Beria.

1At first, in the days of the kings, VAK, and within them Mochin of Nefesh of the externality of the NHY of Ima: This concerns the ZAT of Nekudim, which are all in the discernment of ZA of Nekudim, as is known. And there was in him the discernment of Katnut and Gadlut, as said there in Part 6, for at first the ten Sefirot of Nekudim came out in the discernment of Katnut, from the bottom Hey that rose in the Nikvey Einayim of SAG, whereupon AVI descended to the discernment of HGT, which are AHP that went outside, and the ZAT are found in the discernment of NHY. And this is what he said, “ZA had in him at first, in the days of the kings, VAK, and within them Mochin of Nefesh,” that is, the discernment of the Katnut of Nekudim, as explained. But afterward, through the ascent of MAN [Mayin Nukvin] of the NHY of AK to the upper AB SAG, the Gadlut of Nekudim came out, for the illumination of AB brought the bottom Hey down from Einayim to the Peh, and returned AVI to the discernment of Rosh and GAR, and the ZAT of Nekudim expanded in their kingdom down to BYA, as said in Part 7. And since these VAK of ZA in the Mochin of Nefesh that came out at the time of the Katnut of Nekudim are the vessels and lights of the front of ZA, that is, the discernment of the Chazeh and above of ZA, all of which is the discernment of Atzilut, as above in the adjacent item, they are therefore reckoned as the essence of ZA himself; for all these Mochin that came out in the Gadlut of Nekudim are only the discernment of an addition, as is known. Hence he reckons them here as the essence of ZA, for even in the world of correction, in the first Ibur only these anterior vessels, of the discernment of the Chazeh and above, which are the discernment of his GE, were clarified — these came out there from the coupling of the bottom Hey in the Einayim of SAG. And the posterior vessels, that is, the Chazeh and below of ZA, which came out there at the time of Gadlut, through the illumination of AB that brought the bottom Hey down from Einayim and joined the AHP of ZA to the discernment of Atzilut — all this is only an addition, and is not of the essence of ZA. And therefore, even in the world of correction, these came only as an addition, in the second Ibur, as said in the adjacent item.
