And there, in Parashat Shelach Lecha, they explained that there is a Tzitz and there is a Tzitzit. For the Tzitz is the male, and it is the lock of hair of Arich Anpin; and it is called the male Tzitz, because it extends down to the head of Zeir Anpin, who is male. But the lock of hair of Zeir Anpin is called the female Tzitzit, because it extends down to the head of the Nukva.
