And when it is a time of favor (Et Ratzon), then the thirteen whitenesses shine within the thirteen locks, and then the locks withdraw from over the forehead and the face, and the locks withdraw to the sides, through the two sides of the beard, where the corners (pe'ot) of the head are, as mentioned in Chapter 13, see there well at its end. Then their lights are drawn into the thirteen corrections of the beard itself, not into the face. Also they will not cover the ears, but only within the beard itself will a wondrous light shine in the thirteen corrections of the beard of Arich Anpin, as mentioned in the Gate of Unifications (Sha'ar HaYichudim), Part 1, see there.
