Thus it is found that it is neither literally Elohim, because it is in Arich Anpin, nor literally mercy (Rahamim), which is the Name YHVH; rather, it is the Name Metzpatz, intermediate between them, for it is neither literally YHVH nor literally Elohim, but intermediate between them, as mentioned, and it is their substitute.
