And therefore it is called Mazal, because they flow and extend downward, and drip drops of bounty. As the verse says, "Let my speech drip as the dew" (yizal katal imrati). For the hairs are the extension of the channels of bounty, as is known, and each one of these two corrections — namely the eighth and the thirteenth — each one of them is called Mazal.
