The Ari's Text

And there are yet nine other discernments of Ehyeh, called their vessels, in which the nine names of the essence clothe. And they are nine names of Ehyeh, exactly in the manner of the filling of the nine names of the essence. Thus among them all they are eighteen names, which are the eighteen worlds [Chai Olamim], as above.

1The names of Ehyeh, which are exactly in the manner of the filling of the nine HaVaYaHs, etc.: For HaVaYaH and Ehyeh are the aspect of male and female, the male being the one who bestows,
and the female being the one who receives. And therefore it is impossible for the female to have movements other than what is in the male. And therefore all the movements of the nine names of Ehyeh are equal to the nine HaVaYaHs, without any difference between them.
