Know that I have already explained to you that the totality of the head of the Long Face shows its light in this air-space (Avira) that is between the skull and the membrane (Mosa). And the secret of this Avira is the secret mentioned in the Zohar in many places: "Let there be light, let there be air; the Kaf came out, the Yod emerged from the air, and light remained." Therefore the membrane (Kruma) intervenes between this Avira and the Mosa, so that it can bear it.
