The Ari's Text

And then it is drawn from the Moach Stimaa of Arich Anpin, through the two Mazalot of the beard, to the Mochin of Aba and Ima, which clothe the Hassadim and Gevurot of Arich Anpin hidden within their Hochma and Bina; for the two upper segments, which are the aspect of the hands of Arich Anpin, are the aspect of the Hochma of Aba and the Hochma of Ima. And these two upper segments are called the inheritance [Achsanta] of his father and his mother, because these two segments reached their portion and their inheritance, and from there one drop is drawn from Aba and Ima, comprising two drops, and from them are made the two Mochin of Hochma and Bina in ZA.

1The two upper joints, which are the discernment of the hands of AA, are the discernment of the Hochma of Aba and the Hochma of Ima, etc., they are called the inheritance [Achsanta] of AVI. This has already been explained above, in the passage beginning “And behold,” how the HGT NHY of AA divide into ten vessels for the sake of the Partzuf of the AB of AVI: that the upper two thirds of the right hand, which is the Hesed of AA, become the Hochma of Aba, which likewise includes the Bina of Aba; save that, since it is AB, he therefore reckons only the upper discernment. And in this manner the upper two thirds of the left hand of AA became the Hochma of Ima, and her Bina too is included therein. See there.
2The Achsanta of AVI, because these two joints reached their portion and their inheritance. Meaning, that therefore the Zohar calls them by the name the Achsanta of AVI, because they reached them from the three heads of AA and from the GAR of Atik, through their ascent and their inclusion there, as above, page 1559, the passage beginning “Were made.” See there. And it is regarded as though they took them from a discernment that is above their degree, and on account of this they are called Achsanta.
