And the reason why the two Heys mentioned were needed to illuminate here is in order to illuminate in the three last ones, which are "visiting the iniquity of the fathers," etc., as above. And they are judgments, and they need sweetening and great illumination to sweeten them. And with these three they are sixteen, except that these are deferred, because they are judgments.

1Why the two Heys were needed to illuminate here is in order to illuminate in the three last ones, which are “visiting the iniquity of the fathers” etc. Behold, these three last ones, which are “will not cleanse,” “visiting,” etc., “upon the third generations” — he attains them after he attains the new NHY, when the bottom Hey descends from the place of the Chazeh [chest] to the place of the Atara [crown] of the Yesod of the new NHY, as is known. It is thus found that the Heys of the two HaVaYot, the first and the second of the corrections of the Dikna [beard] of AA, which illuminate for him now to the discernment of the Rosh [head] and to the NHY of the Gadlut of the vessels — behold, beforehand, at the time of Katnut, they were blocked and included in the point of the Chazeh, as above. And this is what he says, that these two Heys, which are now included in the point of the Chazeh in a blocked state, must illuminate for him afterwards, at the time when he attains his new NHY. For then the Malchut descends from the Chazeh to the new Yesod, and he acquires the GAR of the lights; and then he acquires the three last ones, which complete for him the nine corrections of the Dikna, as explained.
2Sixteen, except that these are deferred because they are judgments. Meaning, that he asks: why are the three corrections of the Dikna [beard] of ZA, which are “will not cleanse,” etc., and “visiting,” etc., and “upon the third generations,” not counted among the corrections of the Dikna of AA itself, for then he would have had sixteen corrections in his Dikna? And upon this he answered that these are judgments, and they are not fit to be corrected in AA but only in ZA — meaning, that they are from the discernment of the AHP that belong to ZA, and therefore they are corrected together with the new NHY of ZA, and AA has no part in them.
