The Ari's Text

And with this the matter of this statement, which disagrees with the Sifra deTzniuta, will be reconciled. For there it says the opposite: the judgments of the female are calm in the head and strong in the end, and the reverse in the male. But the matter is that the Sifra deTzniuta speaks of the aspect of the judgments themselves, which are the aspect of the NNH of ZA, in which is the secret of the judgments, as explained above. And behold, they enter and become the aspect of mochin in the head of the Nukva; but of the NNH of the Nukva there is no other Partzuf in Atzilut beneath her in which they could be made in the aspect of mochin. It follows therefore that her judgments, which are her NNH, are strong at the end.

1The Sifra DeTzniuta speaks of the discernment of the judgments themselves, which are the discernment of the NHY of ZA, in which is the secret of the judgments; and they become Mochin in the Rosh [head] of the Nukva, etc.; but in Parashat Tetzaveh he does not speak of the discernment of the judgments, etc. That is to say, that in the Sifra DeTzniuta he speaks of the discernment of the judgments that are in the NHY of ZA, which become Mochin in the Rosh of the Nukva. And when they are in the Rosh of ZA, behold, they receive the illumination of the root of the Gevurot from the Atara of Gevura of ZA, and therefore they are hard in his head. But when they clothe as Mochin in the Rosh of the female, they are found to be separated from the root of the Gevurot that is in ZA, and there is in them only the discernment of the Gevurot of the Nukva that come from the Malchut of Ima, which is the discernment of the Malchut of the second restriction, included in the quality of mercy, as is known, and as above in the adjacent item; see there. But the discernment of the judgments of the NHY of the Nukva do not become Mochin, since she has no lower Partzuf to clothe in them; and therefore they are the discernment of ten forces of the Sium alone. And from this discernment the judgments of the Nukva are regarded as hard at the end, since they do not become Mochin and there is in them only the force of the Sium alone, as explained. But from the discernment of the taking of the judgments, behold, ZA takes his judgments from the Mazal VeNakeh, from there the root of the judgments, which have no sweetening until the end of correction, and therefore in his end they go on growing stronger. But the Nukva takes the judgments from ZA, that is, only the discernment of an illumination alone, and therefore they cease after the reception of the Mochin of MA, as above in the adjacent item.
