And understand this well, for at the time of the suckling, everything that was in him before the death of the kings returned to be corrected — for he is six connected VAK, and she is the corrected seventh point. And necessarily, at the time of the death of the kings there were in them two aspects, which are face and back; and therefore these two aspects are not lacking from any Partzuf in the world.

1And necessarily, at the time of the death of the kings there were in them two discernments, which are face and posterior, and therefore these two discernments are not lacking from any Partzuf in the world. These two discernments are HGT NHY, which are the anterior vessels of the ZAT of Nekudim, namely what emerged in them at the time of Katnut [smallness/infancy] above the Parsa. For from the discernment of the vessels they are HBD HGT alone, and the NHY in them remained beneath the Parsa in BYA. And since they were not broken on their own account, but because they were joined with the vessels of BYA, therefore after they were sorted and separated from the vessels of BYA, and rose and were corrected in Atzilut, no diminution whatsoever will ever again befall them; for the Parsa of Atzilut was corrected in such a manner that the anterior vessels will no longer join with the vessels below the Parsa, as happened at the time of the kings. And this is what he says, “and therefore these two discernments are not lacking from any Partzuf in the world” — that is to say, that after they were corrected in Atzilut they are no longer lacking from there. As above. And that he calls them by the name face and posterior follows from what is written above in item 60, that the middle one, which is HGT, is not called posterior, but only the external Partzuf alone, which is NHY. See there. And therefore here too he calls the Partzuf of HGT by the name face, and the NHY by the name posterior. However, in most places he calls the two discernments HGT NHY by the name the posterior Partzufim. And more than that: even the inner Partzuf that comes through the discernment of BON, which completes the vessels of Yesod and Malchut in her, is also called in the words of the ARI by the name posterior; and this is because everything that comes for the completion of vessels is called by the name BON and is called posterior. And these are the first three Partzufim brought here, which come from the name BON. And only afterward do ZON rise a second time as MAN [Mayin Nukvin] and receive the discernment of the name MA, and that is what is called the discernment of face. And in it too there are three Partzufim, as in the posterior, which are: Ibur [impregnation], nursing, and Gadlut [greatness/adulthood]; and they are called the three Partzufim of face. But the first three, which are BON and not MA, are called the three Partzufim of posterior. For all the vessels come from the sortings of the breaking in BYA, which before the breaking emerged in the ten Sefirot of Nekudim, which is called BON; and therefore the completion of these vessels is also called by the name BON. Also, relative to the lights of Atzilut, which are called MA, the BON is regarded as the discernment of posterior.
