And behold, in AA and Atik, the male took all of MaH and the female took all of BaN, because she is sweetened and does not need him. But from Aba and Ima onward, the males had to first take the BaN of the female, even its Katnut, in order to sweeten it, and afterward it was given to her entirely, while its root from the Katnut remained in them.
