Also another diminution is added in it, namely: it is known that every aspect of Malchut is called a non-illuminating mirror [Aspaklaria de-lo Nahara], and she has nothing of her own, except what she receives from her husband. And it is found that it is not enough that the screen is made from her, being the very last in Yetzirah, for which reason it is called distant; but also there is in it a great diminution, because besides being the last and the lowest, she has no light of her own, as mentioned. Therefore this screen is called a distant and diminished screen.
