There is also another reason, and it is on account of AA [Arich Anpin] himself. It has been explained that AVI [Aba ve Ima] and ZON [Zeir Anpin and Nukva] are the garments of AA for his body: AVI clothe him from the throat to the Tabur [navel] of Arich, which is at the end of the two thirds of his Tiferet, and ZON clothe him from the Tabur to the close of his stature. Now, before the correction of ZON, AA was uncovered from his half downward and needed to be clothed; therefore he himself had to couple within himself [Minei uVei] to bring out ZON, so that he might be clothed in them — for on his account as well, ZA was in the discernment of "three comprised in three." Therefore this Zivug [coupling], for the first Ibur [conception] of ZON, was by Arich Anpin himself. But in the second Ibur, of the Mochin — when AA no longer needs garments, being already clothed, and that Ibur is then needed only by ZON themselves — the Zivug for the need of that second Ibur was therefore made through AVI, who are the upper ones over ZON, and the Mochin were extended to them by their means.
