The third phase came afterward, at the eve of Sabbath, on the day Adam HaRishon was created, in the afternoon, which is the time called ‘the addition to the Sabbath,’ and is not yet a complete Sabbath. And the matter is this: after the midpoint of that eve of Sabbath, it has already been explained that Yetzira and Assiya rose to the place of Zeir Anpin and his Nukva of Atzilut; however, only the first four of Assiya rose, while the last six remained outside Atzilut, in the world of Beriah, and this was not yet complete holiness. Being so, it follows that Yetzira and Assiya returned to be like Zeir Anpin and his Nukva, standing back to back, and when the female is back to back with the male she has a stature of only four Sefirot, as above. But when they return face to face, she has the complete stature of ten Sefirot.
