And behold, then ZON clothe AA in this manner, and it is that they clothe the lower third of the Tifferet and the NHY of Arich, which are four Sefirot. And behold, the Malchut, the Nukva of ZA, takes the lower joint of the Hod of Arich, and then it was called "a step outward," which is the point and the lower tip of the small Vav within the Hey of Bina. And although it took only the lower third of the Hod, the whole Hod is called by its name, since it is not entirely for ZA.

1The Malchut, the Nukva of ZA, takes the lower joint of the Hod of Arich: You already know that the secret of the bottom Hey and the five Gevurot includes all the ZAT, and all the ten Sefirot of Hassadim: for HGT are of the discernment of KHB in Hassadim, and NH are the discernments of ZON of Hassadim — so the Nukva is the discernment of Hod. And this is what he says, that the Nukva of ZA takes the lower joint of the Hod of Arich, since she is exactly the discernment that corresponds to it. And as for why she does not take the whole Hod but only the lower joint alone, this will be explained before us.
