And it is found that at that time only the three lower ones are revealed in it, which are the epitome of the judgments, for there is the hold of the external ones, as said, and there Samael holds on to the thigh of Jacob, since they are outside the body, as mentioned in Parashat Beresheet. Hence then the fetus is called in the secret of "three included in three," and then the small child begins to be in the two [parts of the] foreskin, which are the externality of the name Elokim, where the Klipot, called the foreskin, have their hold. And this is what is said in the Zohar, Mishpatim, page 98, concerning the circumcised small child, how at first it is in the two [parts of the] foreskin, and grows from below upward; and afterward, when the judgments have diminished somewhat, the three middle ones, which are more merciful than the three lower ones, are also revealed, and it is recognizable that the child has complete VAK.
