And behold, we must, at midnight, make the aspect of a vessel in her and in the upper Ima, as mentioned; and these two aspects — namely, the making of the vessel in Ima, and in the Nukva of ZA — are done at midnight exactly, through the Shema upon the bed. And there, in the Idra Rabba (in Parashat Nasso), it was explained how also the upper Ima must be made a new vessel every night. And the reason is that when the upper Ima lowers her NHY in the secret of the three Mochin within the head of ZA, behold, that upper spirit that Aba gave into her in the first intercourse, to make her a vessel, which is called the pure air (Avira DeKaya), she bequeaths it to ZA; and she must receive a new vessel anew.
