And certainly at first the surrounding lights of the Tefillin began to come out, being higher than those of the beard; therefore we shall explain these surrounding lights of the Tefillin first, and afterwards those of the beard. For a man is obligated in the commandment of Tefillin immediately after he is thirteen years and one day old, and the beard delays in growing, only later. And these two surrounding lights, which are the Tefillin and the beard, are the sixth aspect mentioned above.
