  1. And the matter is, as is known, that from the Tifferet of Ima a crown is made for ZA; and when she too ascends up to there, and her crown will be in the Tifferet of Ima like his, their crowns will be equal, and they will both be one, for both will be the aspect of the Tifferet of Ima, which is a single Sefira. Then she will not need to receive her illumination through ZA, but they will both receive their illumination from Ima, each one by himself, and they will not need one another; and ZON will be equal in their existence, like AVI, as mentioned in the Idra: “AVI come out as one and dwell as one.” And this is the limit of her growth, and then all the worlds are at the ultimate correction.

  1. 1Both of them will be the discernment of the Tifferet of Ima, which is a single Sefira, and then she will not need to receive her illumination through ZA, but both of them will receive their illumination from Ima, etc., equal in their existence like AVI. And one must recall here what is written in Part 5, in the matter of the original ZAT, HGT NHYM. And it was explained there that the principal ones are all ZA and the Nukva, and they are only the Netzah and Hod of the ZAT; and the HGT that are in them come from the inclusion of the upper ones, the GAR, which are KHB, except that since KHB descended to the discernment of VAK they were called by the name HGT. And thus HGT NH of the ZAT are found to be like KHB ZON of the general, and therefore they are called the five Hassadim or the five Gevurot, for their essence is only HGT NH. And the Yesod is only the generality of these five, namely the generality of the five Hassadim; and likewise Malchut is only the generality of the five Gevurot, as is written there at length.
And because of this, ZON of Atzilut, who clothe the NHY of AA, are found to be such that ZA is the discernment of the Netzah of AA and the Nukva is the discernment of the Hod of AA. Meaning, that this is their portion in the original nine Sefirot of AA: that ZA is the Netzah of the original nine Sefirot, and the Nukva is the Hod of the original nine Sefirot, for the NH are the essence of the ZON, as above. And this is what causes the Nukva to be below ZA, and their level not to be equal, for they are two distinct Sefirot, one below the other, since the Hod is below the Netzah and must receive from the Netzah.
And one should not object, according to this, how it is ever possible for ZA and the Nukva to be at an equal level, since they come from two distinct Sefirot, Netzah and Hod, which are one below the other. Yet this came to her by virtue of her building from the rib of ZA, as is written below in the building of the Nukva; for through this the Netzah and the Hod were included in one discernment, and the Nukva took also the Netzah of ZA for her portion, and it is found in this that both of them are included in one Sefira, and therefore both of them can be at an equal level.
And in this inclusion of Netzah and Hod there are two discernments. The first, that ZA, whose source is the Netzah of AA, descends and is included in the Hod of AA, whereby he is found included with the Nukva in one Sefira, and they can be at an equal level. The second is that the Nukva, whose discernment is in the Hod of AA, ascends and is included in the Netzah of AA, whereby she is found included with ZA in one Sefira and can be with him at an equal level.
And the difference between these two kinds of inclusion is that through the inclusion of the Netzah in the Hod, although they thereby come to be at an equal level, nevertheless she still needs to receive her abundance from the Sefira of the Netzah of AA, from which ZA is extended; and it is thus found that even at the time when they are at an equal level she must receive all her abundance through ZA her husband. However, through the inclusion of the Hod in the Netzah she is found to be entirely of the measure of ZA, for now she nurses from the Tifferet of AA like ZA, and ZA no longer has any advantage over her.
And all that has been explained in the grip of the ZON in the TNHY of AA is exactly so also in their grip in the TNHY of Ima, for all that they receive from AA is only through clothing in AVI, as is known. And thus the two aforementioned divisions in the inclusion of the NH of AA are found to apply likewise also in the TNHY of Ima: that in the inclusion of the Netzah in the Hod the ZON are found to be of an equal level, and the Nukva is compelled to receive from the Netzah of Ima, for which reason she must of necessity receive also from ZA her husband, whose root is in the Netzah of Ima. However, in the inclusion of the Hod in the Netzah, the Nukva is already found in the discernment of the Netzah of Ima, and she receives from the Tifferet of Ima like ZA; and then ZA no longer has any advantage over her, and she no longer needs him.
And this is what he says, “from the Tifferet of Ima a Keter is made for ZA, and when she too ascends up to there and her Keter is in the Tifferet of Ima like his, their Keters will be equal and both of them will be in one Keter; for both of them will be the discernment of the Tifferet of Ima, which is a single Sefira, etc., and they will not need one another, and ZON will be equal in their existence like AVI, who come out as one and dwell as one.” That is, as explained, that at the time when the Hod ascends and is included in the Netzah, the Nukva is found in one Sefira together with ZA, and both of them have one root, which is called Keter, namely the Tifferet of Ima, for the Sefira of the Netzah nurses from the upper one of her, which is the Tifferet, as above. And this is reckoned as their both using one Keter, like the upper AVI. For the whole reason that AVI are counted as one is that both of them come from one Sefira, which is the Bina of AA; and therefore, when they ascend to the GAR of AA and couple upon the Mazalot, they are found even then to be using one Keter of AA. And all this is because AVI are always one Sefira of the Bina of AA. And now that the Netzah of AA has raised the Hod to itself and the Nukva has been included in its Netzah, behold the ZON too are both included in one Sefira of AA, which is the Netzah, and therefore both of them use one Keter, like AVI.
And one should not object to this from what the ARI writes, that the Keter of Aba is higher than that of Ima, for Aba took the Keter and Hochma of Bina and Ima took the Bina of Bina, and therefore she lacks the Keter of Aba, in the secret of Gam and Em. For there what is spoken of is AVI of the level of SAG, namely at the time when the Bina of AA, in which AVI are gripped, went out to the outside of the Rosh of AA. And here the ARI speaks of the discernment of the Mochin of ZA, where AVI are now at the level of AB, namely at the time when the Bina of AA ascended and became the discernment of a Rosh and GAR, when AVI use one Keter for both of them. And the reason is simple: for at the time when the Bina of AA goes outside of the Rosh, behold, all the eminence of GAR that she has is by virtue of the GAR of Bina being in the secret of “for He desires mercy,” and no screen can diminish her, as is written in the previous part. However, in relation to Aba, who is the discernment of Hochma, she is still reckoned as lacking a Rosh, for after all she cannot receive Hochma because of the screen that is beneath Mocha Stimaa. Yet Aba, who is Hochma, is not so bounded by the screen of Mocha Stimaa, for a screen is not rooted at all above Hochma, and the discernment of Hochma, in relation to AA, did not go out of the Rosh, as is known. And therefore the Bina cannot be with him in one Keter at the time when she is outside of the Rosh of AA. However, after the return of the Bina of AA to the Rosh, Aba again has no advantage at all over Ima, and both of them use one Keter, since both of them are included in one Sefira of AA, as above.
