1“Go and diminish yourself” — that her upper nine Sefirot departed and ascended in ZA, and she remained a diminished point, and descended under the Yesod. And at first glance this does not go hand in hand with what the ARI writes in several places, that through her complaint she descended to Beria and became a head for foxes; whereas here he says that her nine Sefirot ascended in ZA, and she became a point under the Yesod. And the matter is that there is here, in the third phase of the posterior of the Nukva, internality and externality. And it was explained above that the matter of this diminution is the discernment of her Ibur of the anterior; and from this discernment it is regarded that her nine Sefirot ascended in ZA and she herself became a point under the Yesod, for in the discernment of Ibur only the internality of the Partzuf comes. However, the externality of this Partzuf descended and clothed in Beria, and became there the discernment of Keter. Indeed, even this is not regarded as an actual descent, but only with respect to Atzilut is it regarded as a descent, since she was corrected there into the discernment of the revealed head of AA of Beria. And this descent came to her because of her complaint about the discernment of the Gadlut, as above, and therefore the externality of this Gadlut descended to Beria. And therefore it is called by the name of complaint, for she caused a descent of the discernment of her Gadlut to outside of Atzilut. Understand this.
