And we will explain the matter of the screen added in Yetzirah, which is at a distance, as mentioned. Behold, it was explained that the screen between Atzilut and Beriah is made from the Bina of Atzilut. But this screen between Beriah and Yetzirah is made from the ZA of Beriah. For the ZA of Beriah surrounds, clothes, and encloses the Malchut of Beriah, even beneath her feet, in the manner mentioned above; and through this screen the light passes to Yetzirah, from the world of Beriah. And this is what they said in the aforementioned book of Tikkunim, that the Tifferet dwells in the angel, which is the world of Yetzirah. And behold, it is a distant screen, for it is made only from the Tifferet of Beriah, unlike the first screen, which is made from the Bina of Atzilut and not from the Tifferet of Atzilut. And the reason for this change, I have forgotten it. And indeed, the world of Assiyah deteriorated more, for it does not receive the light of Yetzirah except through another screen, at a distance and in diminution. And the explanation of the matter is that the Malchut of Yetzirah itself makes a screen beneath her feet, from her external garment, so that the light of her essence itself will not descend to Assiyah, but only through this screen. And this is what they said in the book of Tikkunim, that Malchut dwells in the Ophan, which is Assiyah.
