Now we shall explain the second phase. It is that after Adam HaRishon was created and the Holy One, blessed be He, brought him into the Garden of Eden — for this was from the middle of the sixth day onward — at which time holiness was necessarily added to all the worlds, as explained by us regarding the matter of Erev Shabbat: for from the fifth hour of Erev Shabbat the worlds begin to rise above their place, and holiness is added to them, as mentioned by us in the secret of the extra Hey mentioned in the verse "And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day," hinting at the fifth hour, as mentioned.
