Understand also that the externality of the upper one that descends is not from the whole of it, but only the Malchut within the externality of the Malchut within it. For indeed, when we say that the externality of NHY descends, we mean the Malchut within that externality, which stands in the NHY of the externality — since that entire externality is only the ten Sefirot of the Malchut of that Partzuf.

1The externality of the upper one that descends is not from the whole of it, but only the Malchut within the externality of the Malchut within it: As written above at length, that although the lower one is attached to the NHY of the upper one, which are the NHY of its Gadlut, it nevertheless does not receive except from the Malchut standing at the Chazeh of the upper one, since the Yesod of Katnut of the upper one becomes Tifferet down to the Chazeh, and the Malchut of Katnut of the upper one is the discernment of a point beneath the Yesod of Katnut. Thus the entire level of Katnut of the lower one comes out from the Malchut of the upper one — yet not from the Malchut of the upper one itself, but from the discernment of externality of that Malchut, namely from a degree lower than this Malchut. For example, if it is YESHSUT rising and included in the coupling of AVI, namely in the Malchut in the place of the Chazeh — the coupling is not made upon the discernment of the bottom Hey of the Einayim of phase three, which is the discernment of internality and self of this Malchut, but only from the discernment of the bottom Hey in the Einayim of phase two, which is externality and posterior to that Malchut; and the level that comes out through that coupling, with their garments, which are also NHY of externality, descend into Mochin for the lower one. And likewise also in the Mochin of Gadlut, where that bottom Hey descends from the Einayim and raises the AHP — at which time Neshama comes out, and not the level of Haya, as above at length. Thus the Mochin and NHY that descend from the upper one come from the externality of the Malchut within the Malchut of the upper one.
2That the NHY of externality, etc., is only the ten Sefirot of the Malchut of that Partzuf: For in this Malchut of the upper one, standing in the place of the Chazeh, from the discernments of her externality, both the coupling of Katnut and the coupling of Gadlut are made upon her; therefore she is reckoned as GAR and VAK, which are the ten Sefirot of externality: the VAK of externality within her, namely the level of Katnut, becomes internality for the VAK of the lower one; and the GAR of externality within her, which is the level of Gadlut, becomes internality for the GAR of the lower one.
