And this is what is said: "As it is written, 'Four hundred shekels of silver, current with the merchant,'" for they were four hundred for the aforementioned reason, because they are the four Yods in the Name of the back of the head. And they are also of silver, because this Name is Ab (72) of Yods, and Hesed in gematria is Ab (72); and silver is Hesed. Therefore they were shekels of silver and not gold. And also because they are the aspect of the whitenesses, which are the whiteness of the head, white like silver, and they are not the aspect of the hairs, which are black or red.
