It is found that the Malchut within her has no partner opposite it in the male, for she is below his Yesod; therefore it is necessary that the Malchuts within her, being below his entire stature, be raised through him; and then her Malchut, which has no partner, ascends up to her own Yesod, and they are included together there, in the secret of inclusion, as is known to us; and then she is able to receive from the Yesod of ZA. And it is found that in this aspect there is in her a Partzuf of only her upper nine Sefirot, for her tenth is included in her Yesod; and then his Keter is also higher than her Keter.

Above he stated the reason why the Nukva lacks the Keter of ZA, from the discernment of the clothing of the TNHY of Ima in ZA: for the Tifferet of Ima, from which comes the Keter of ZA, is found above the root of the Nukva; and as written above, that the Nukva is the discernment of Hod, and her root is in the Netzah of Ima and not in the Tifferet. See there. And here the ARI adds a reason for this, from the discernment of the building of the Partzuf of the Nukva herself. For at the time when she needs to receive from the discernment of ZA, she has no reception for the discernment of her Malchut, since ZA is nine Sefirot, up to the Yesod alone; and therefore the Malchut of the Nukva is compelled to ascend and to be included in her Yesod, in order to receive from the Yesod of ZA. And therefore the Nukva is regarded as lacking the vessel of Malchut at the time when she needs to receive from ZA. And it is known that with the lack of the Malchut of the vessels, the Keter of the lights is lacking, and because of this she is regarded as lacking the Keter of ZA. And this is what he says: “For in this discernment there is in her a Partzuf of the upper nine Sefirot alone, for her tenth is included in her Yesod, and then his Keter too is higher than her Keter” — that is, as explained, that in this discernment, in which she needs to receive from ZA, she is found lacking the vessel of Malchut, and therefore she lacks the Keter of the lights, as is known from the inverse relation between vessels and lights. However, at the time when she does not need to receive from ZA, but is able to receive from the Tifferet of Ima like ZA, then her Malchut too receives an illumination like the rest of the Sefirot, and therefore she is then completed also with the light of the Keter.
