1They did not return to ascend and to depart and to become hidden in ZA himself, as at the time of the diminution of the moon on the fourth day; however, since it was because of the sin, they descended below into the shells. It has already been explained above that in the complaint of the moon there was there no deficiency at all, for she was using one Keter with ZA; only that she could not stand there because of the lack of Hassadim, as above. And therefore there is there no descent at all to the discernments of shells; rather, the internality in her returned to Ibur into ZA, and from the externality the revealed head of AA was corrected. However, here there was a sin and a flaw, similar to the breaking of the vessels at the time of Nekudim; for through his sin he drew the lights of Atzilut to expand into BYA, and by this he spoiled all the sortings that had already been sorted from BYA, and returned and brought them down into the shells. And we have already elaborated on this above, at the end of part 8, page 687, the passage beginning “And know.” See there in the whole passage.
