It was explained above that the discernment of the externality [Hitzoniut] precedes the internality [Pnimiut]. Even so, we shall first explain, with great brevity, the matter of the internality, and afterwards explain the matter of the externality — for the internality was exactly in its likeness, and there is no difference between them except in the number of the months of the Ibur [conception], as mentioned; and from the externality you will learn about the internality in all the other discernments. After there had been the two Iburim and the one Yenika [suckling] of the externality, AA [Arich Anpin] returned a second time to couple within himself [Minei uVei], in the discernment of his internality; and he did not clothe within AVI [Aba ve Ima] as it had been in the externality — where ZON [Zeir Anpin and Nukva] were clothed, in the secret of "three comprised in three," in the NHY [Netzah, Hod, Yesod] of Arich, and AVI enclothed ZON. Here in the internality, however, it was not so; rather AA, within himself, coupled with the Nukva [female], and extended the discernment of internality to ZON — whence the souls of the righteous are drawn, as said above.

1AA returned a second time to couple within himself, in the discernment of his internality, and did not clothe within AVI: As above — for now he needs to receive from the statures of HGT of Nekudim, which the HGT of Atik took; but since this is the second Ibur, of the Mochin, he needs to receive these HGT from the discernment of what they become when they return to be HBD — namely, from the clothing of the seven lower [Sefirot] of Atik within the Reisha [head] of AA, where they become HBD, as is known. Therefore they now have no reason at all to clothe within AVI of Atzilut.
