The Ari's Text

There is also another difference in this: in the externality [Hitzoniut], the NHY [Netzah, Hod, Yesod] of Arich clothed his HGT [Hesed, Gevura, Tiferet] and were included in them; but now, in the internality [Pnimiut], the NHY of Arich were included in his HGT, and in addition, his HGT were included and clothed in his HBD [Hochma, Bina, Daat]. Thus his NHY are now comprised in three and three, which are nine, and all the nine Sefirot of AA [Arich Anpin] were included together; and from there this internality of ZA [Zeir Anpin] was drawn. And it was in an Ibur [conception] of nine months, as the count of the nine Sefirot of Arich that were included together. And then, from this first Ibur of the internality of Arich, when he coupled within himself — from it was made the internality of the body of ZON [Zeir Anpin and Nukva], which is the discernment of the inner VAK [six ends] in them.
