Also by this you will understand the matter of the eunuch, who has no splendor of face and beard, for behold, this Yesod of AA, in its arousal, caused the arousal of the two Mazalot of the upper beard, as mentioned. And remember this discourse of MAN — of the souls of the righteous and of ZON — what their benefit is, and how everything is connected, and the lower arouses the upper, and the upper returns to bestow to the lower, degree after degree. And also this discourse is the root of all the discourses said concerning the matter of MAN; and guard it and understand it well. But the essence of what MAN are was explained in the Idra of Naso, page 135, column 2.

Meaning, as was said above, in the passage beginning “must,” how ZON, through their ascent with the Yesod of AA to AVI, causes a warming there with its MAN, whereby AVI too raise MAN to the GAR of AA, and the GAR of AA further upward to the GAR of SAG of AK; and then the bestowal of the MAD begins, that AB bestows the MAD to SAG of AK, and from there to Atik, and from there to AA, and from there to AVI, and from them to ZON. Study it there well.
