However, no newborn is formed anew from other MAN [Mayin Nukvin] unless they take some portion of that first Ruach [spirit], which is the Kli [vessel] mentioned. And when that Ruach is finished — since all the new arrivals have already taken their portions and nothing at all remains of it — then the way of women ceases, and she no longer conceives and bears. Yet a little vitality remains in it for the need of the body of the woman's own Yesod; and when this too ceases, the woman dies. And even if she were to give birth through this small remaining vitality of the woman, of the Nefesh itself, she would die. This is the secret of Benjamin, of whom it is written, "And it came to pass, as her soul was departing, for she died." Understand this.
