*ZON [Zeir Anpin and Nukva] have externality [Hitzoniut] and internality [Pnimiut]. At first, all the discernments of the externality of ZON were clarified and corrected in three times — Ibur [conception], Yenika [suckling], and a second Ibur, of the Mochin — as above in Chapters 1 and 2. Afterwards, ZON returned a second time to be corrected in the discernment of internality; and there were then in them another Ibur, Yenika, and Mochin, after the externality had been made — likewise in three discernments: Ibur, Yenika, and Ibur of the Mochin, as mentioned. Thus there were in ZON four Iburim and two Yenikot, for the two discernments, externality and internality.

1ZON have externality and internality: You already know that all the lights of Atzilut come only to correct the vessels and statures that emerged in the ten Sefirot of Nekudim and were nullified. You also know that the seven lower [Sefirot] of Nekudim received from two particular Partzufim: for the four kings of HGT [Hesed, Gevura, Tiferet] received the four statures from above downward, from the four statures that emerged in AVI of Nekudim; and the four kings, Tiferet, Netzah, Hod, Yesod, and Malchut, received from the four statures of YESHSUT of Nekudim, as explained at length in Part 7. And from this you will understand that the correction of the four statures from the chest downward of the seven lower [Sefirot] of Nekudim are the discernment of NRNHY [Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Haya, Yechida] of the externality of ZON of Atzilut; and the four statures of HGT, from the chest upward of the seven lower [Sefirot] of Nekudim, are the NRNHY of the internality of ZON of Atzilut.
