1The externality, etc.: the first Ibur was twelve months, and the second Ibur, of the Mochin, was nine months: For the Ibur of the externality is the discernment of the inclusion of NHY [Netzah, Hod, Yesod] in HGT [Hesed, Gevura, Tiferet] of AA, which is the secret of “three within three” — and these VAK [six ends] need to be included in the VAK of AVI, likewise in the inclusion of NHY of AVI in HGT of AVI; and two times VAK are twelve months. But for Gadlut, which is the second Ibur, when his VAK are already completed, he needs only the inclusion of the VAK of ZA in HGT of AVI, which are only nine discernments, namely nine months.
And the first Ibur of the internality is likewise nine months, for the VAK of ZA are then included in HGT of Atik, which are within HBD [Hochma, Bina, Daat] of AA — which are nine discernments. And in the second Ibur, of the Mochin of the internality, the VAK of ZA are found in the discernment of the seven lower [Sefirot] of Atik, when he then receives from the seven corrections of the Galgalta of AA; therefore they are only seven discernments, namely seven months. And there are yet many more reasons, as will be written before us.
But you need to understand the sources of the matter, according to what was explained above — that the discernment of the internality of ZON is the secret of the correction of the four statures of HGT of Nekudim, down to the chest; for now, in Atzilut, there stand there the HGT of Atik and the GAR of AA — since the Peh of the Rosh of Atik clothes the place of the Peh of AVI of Nekudim, and so his HGT are found in the very place of the HGT of the Nekudim. You also know that the Rosh of AA clothes over the HGT of Atik — so the HGT of Atik and the GAR of AA have taken the place of the HGT of Nekudim. Therefore, when ZA takes something from the NRNHY of the internality, which are the HGT of Nekudim, it necessarily follows that he must clothe and take from the HGT of Atik, which now stand there; except that in the coupling of Katnut, before he attains the inner GAR, he takes only from the discernment of HGT of Atik, before they clothe in the Rosh of AA, for then they bestow VAK without a Rosh. But in the second coupling, of Gadlut, he also takes from the discernment of the Rosh of AA — namely, from the discernment of the HGT of Atik that have already become GAR and HBD in AA.
And in this way you will also understand the two Iburim of the externality: for in the coupling of Katnut of the externality he receives only from HGT of AA, before they were turned and became HBD in AVI — for then he receives only VAK, in the discernment of “three within three,” as above. But in the second coupling, of the Mochin of Gadlut, he receives from HGT of AVI — namely, from those HGT that return and become the discernment of HBD. Therefore he also attains this discernment, that his HGT become HBD, as is known. And with this you will understand all the distinctions between the NRNHY of the internality and the NRNHY of the externality.
