However, this aforementioned growth — the filling of her ten Sefirot to the measure of the two thirds of the Tifferet and the whole NHY [Netzach-Hod-Yesod] of ZA [Zeir Anpin] — is only through the illumination of the Mochin [minds] within ZA, as it is written. And know that these lights that go out to her from within ZA do not pierce all the partitions of the Guf [body] of ZA from the Chazeh [chest] downward, going outside and shining there and building the Nukva [female] — for were it so, she would have been built in a single moment, and she would not have needed to grow for twelve years and one day.

1They do not pierce all the partitions of the Guf of ZA, etc., for if so she would have been built in a single moment, etc.: That is, those lights do not come to the female in the same measure that they are in the Guf of ZA itself, where they are in the discernment of Gadlut — for that would be reckoned as piercing and nullifying the partitions of ZA, and the Guf of the Nukva and the Guf of ZA would become one Guf with no partitions to separate between them. Rather, they come to her through a restricted orifice, that is, through the screen of phase one, as it was at the time of the Katnut of ZA, when he had the discernment of an orifice at the Chazeh, in the secret of the Peh of his head, as above, in the adjacent item.
