And with this you will understand why the infant does not eat by himself but only nurses from his mother's breasts. For since this dross is from his three lower Sefirot, which are strong judgments, he has no power to combine and clarify them through his eating, as is known, for eating is an aspect of clarification, as explained in its place; and his mother must clarify them first, and clean the waste in them, and nurse him with what she has already clarified.
