And when Moshe Rabbeinu, the choicest of all creatures, was born, he merited them all. And this is the secret of "for he too is flesh, and his days shall be a hundred and twenty years" (be-Shagam hu basar ve-hayu yamav me'ah ve-esrim shana) — and our rabbis said: "be-Shagam — this is Moshe." And by this you will understand what is said in the Sefer HaZohar: "Moshe merited Bina." And the matter is that he merited the souls of Bina of Beria, and all the more so the rest of the lower [souls], until the end of Assiya. And it is known that Aba and Ima never separate; hence, when he merited Bina, Hochma was also included. Therefore he is called Moshe, which is in gematria Kuf-Peh-Dalet — these being the posteriors (Achoraim) of the Name HaVaYaH of 72, of Yudin, which is in Aba.
