And the reason it is called "flying in the air" and is not called "falling" is that it should have fallen below, to the place where the four lower joints of the Netzah and Hod of AA stand, which is the place of the six extremities of ZA; but the illumination drawn to it from above, from those two first joints that remained in Aba and Ima, is what stands it in the Bina of ZA. And there it is neither above, in its proper place, nor below, with the rest of the joints of the Netzah and Hod, but it remains suspended and flying in the air, in the Bina of ZA, as mentioned, on account of the illumination and the abundance drawn to it from those two upper joints mentioned, which draw it there, although it does not literally ascend with them to their place. And the phase of that upper light, which is called the phase of the air, is drawn to it from them, and it remains suspended and flying in the air.
