  1. *And now we shall explain these aspects, how they are made through Ibur, Yenika, and Mochin. And behold, at the beginning of the Ibur there was the coupling, and then the drop came out in the aspect of ten Malchuts that are in these ten Sefirot of the externality. And afterwards, in the Ibur, these ten external Sefirot were completed, all of which are only NHY alone, as mentioned. And this is in a general way, meaning that the NHY that are in each one of these nine Sefirot of the externality were completed.

  1. 1At the beginning of the Ibur there was the coupling, and then the drop came out in the discernment of ten Malchuts that are in these ten Sefirot of the externality: Seemingly this contradicts what was written above (page 1203, item 200) that at first, at the time of the coupling, six Malchuts were clarified — see there. However, both these and these are the words of the living God; rather, one must understand the matter from its root. For in these ZAT of Nekudim, which are the discernment of ZA, that was raised through the AHP of AVI to the first Ibur, one must understand in them two kinds of vessels. For it is known that in every Partzuf there are found two kinds of vessels: the first are the old vessels that were emptied from the body of the upper Partzuf, as above (page 270, item 71 and item 74 and item 76), which are the primary vessels of the Partzuf. And the second kind are the vessels that come with the emergence of the level of the Partzuf itself, which are the discernment of the reflected light rising from below upward, which afterward also expands from above downward and becomes a vessel of reception for the Partzuf, as above (page 269, item 66 and 68). And it is known that these two kinds of vessels that are in the Partzufim of Atzilut are called MA and BON: the old vessels are called BON, and the new vessels that come with the level of the Partzuf are called MA. And in the Partzufim of Nekudim, they are called SAG and BON: the old vessels there are of the discernment of below the Tabur and downward of the Partzuf of SAG, which, after they had expanded to the end of the legs of AK, the second restriction occurred, and the lights within them were emptied, as written there, and in these vessels the ten Sefirot of Nekudim, which came out from the Nikvey Einayim, were clothed. And they are the primary vessels, for no vessel is completed except after the expansion of the light and its departure from there, as is known. And they are the vessels of SAG, as explained.
And the second kind of vessels are those that came out through the looking of Einayim in AHP, which are the discernment of the reflected light that expanded from above downward within the Malchut of Rosh, and the Malchut expanded from herself and within herself from above downward until the Tabur, in ten vessels, until the Malchut of Malchut. And although they are the discernment of a vessel of reception for the Partzuf, nevertheless they are not yet considered there to be complete vessels, because they have not yet once been in the discernment of the emptying of the light from within them, as is known. And they are called the vessels of BON, for they are the new vessels that came out with the level of BON. Understand this well.
And behold, in the first Ibur, when the ZAT of Nekudim rose to be corrected, the two kinds of vessels of SAG and of BON that are in them rose. And you already know that from the discernment of the vessels of SAG, the ZAT of Nekudim did not receive, in the first division at the time of Katnut, but the discernment of GE until the chest, meaning the place where the Parsa stands, which were corrected there in the second restriction — these are seven vessels: HBD, HGT, and the point of the chest. And from this discernment ZA is regarded as lacking the discernment of the vessels of NHY entirely. For although they were corrected there in the third division and the lights expanded within them until the end of the legs of AK that is in Assiya, nevertheless they immediately broke and returned to the discernment of BYA, as is known. And they received no correction at all in Atzilut, for on the contrary, here in Atzilut the Parsa was strengthened further, in such a way that it is impossible for any light ever to expand into them again, as happened at the time of the breaking of the vessels, as above. It is found that these vessels of NHY, namely from the chest and below of the ZAT of Nekudim, are a lack that cannot be counted until the end of correction, when there will be the discernment of Mati [reaching] the legs to the legs; for then these NHY of BYA will return and be joined to Atzilut, and the legs of ZA of Atzilut will be found expanding into BYA, and will end evenly with the legs of AK of the first restriction, meaning in the measure that the ZAT of Nekudim expanded in their kingship before the breaking of the vessels, as explained. And all this is on the side of the vessels of SAG in which the ZAT of Nekudim were clothed. And it is from this discernment that the ARI speaks above (page 1203, item 200). And so in most places, for all the corrections that are in the world of correction revolve around correcting this lack of NHY, until Mati the legs to the legs. And likewise every discernment of the expansion of the Tzelem [image] of Ima to become the limbs of ZA is to fill this lack of NHY, as written above in the explanation of the thirds, as above (page 1196, the passage beginning “and according to”).
But here, it speaks of the second kind of vessels that are in the ZAT of Nekudim, which are the discernment of the new vessels that exist there from the discernment of the level of BON itself that came out from there. And from this discernment it surely has ten vessels, for there is no expansion of a level that does not have ten Sefirot within it, as is known. Except that all these ten Sefirot that are in ZAT ended from the chest and above of the discernment of the vessels of SAG, meaning that they ended above the Parsa that had just been renewed then
in the second restriction. And therefore, in these ten vessels there is only the discernment of VAK, HGT, NHY, or HBD, HGT, in the measure of the vessels of SAG. However, there certainly must be ten vessels in every level. And remember this for every place.
And therefore, here, where it wants to speak specifically of the growth of the ten vessels of ZA, in all its particulars and details, it necessarily counts ten vessels even in the Ibur, namely from the second kind of vessels of the ZAT of Nekudim, from the discernment of the BON that is in them, as above. Except that since there was there in Katnut only the light of Nefesh, which is the level of Malchut, therefore they are regarded as ten Malchuts, which, in the measure of the vessels, means that only the discernment of the Ketarim that are in each one of the ten Sefirot, in which the level of Malchut, which is the light of Nefesh, is clothed, has grown. And now, at the time of the coupling, meaning at the beginning of their ascent to AVI, there is not yet in this level of Malchut a correction of lines, and therefore it does not yet count the level of Malchut as the discernment of NHY, to say that ten discernments of NHY were corrected in these ten Sefirot in the Ibur. But afterward, in the three days of absorption, the discernment of three lines was corrected in this level, and then it is regarded that ten discernments of NHY were corrected in the ten Sefirot, as it goes on to explain.
