1In Ima the externals do not touch her at all, and they have no hold in her at all: That is, even in the phase of smallness of Ima, there is no contact of the externals at all; for in the lights of greatness the externals have no hold even in the lights of ZON, but the greater novelty is in Ima, that even in her smallness the externals have no hold. And the reason for the matter has already been clarified in the previous parts: that it is by the power of her posterior, which push away Hochma, in the secret of “for He desires mercy,” and therefore the restriction that is in the bottom Hey does not flaw them at all, and even her lights of Hassadim are reckoned as GAR.
