And it goes out from the Concealed Brain, from the radiance within it, namely from the light and the bone within it, and it is the upper Hesed. For the light and the bone in Keter, Hochma and Bina spread in the three upper heads, and in the forehead and the beard; and the light of the bone of Hesed went out, and it is the upper Hesed, and it is called, in its going out from there, the pure air. And it is hidden within the spirit that is hidden in Atik Yomin, and it is in the form of a body and vessel to this pure air. And this is what we say in the Idra Zuta, page 292, column 2, and this is its language: 'And that Aba is a spirit hidden in Atik Yomin, and in it this air is hidden, and it absorbs the spark that goes out from the lamp, etc.' — end of his language. And further we learned in the Idra Rabba, page 131, column 2, and this is its language: 'And this air is the most hidden of the hidden of Atik Yomin, a spirit hidden in this skull, etc.' — end of his language.

1And it goes out from the Mocha Stimaa [the concealed brain], from the illumination that is within it, that is, from the light and the self within it; and it is the upper Hesed, for the light and the self in KHB spread in the three upper heads. Explanation: that he shows here the root from which this Hochma of thirty-two paths goes out; and he says that it goes out from the upper Hesed, that is, the Hesed of Atik, which is clothed within the Galgalta of AA, and from there it is bestowed upon the Mocha Stimaa. And he explains, “for the light and the self of KHB spread in the three heads of AA” — that is, as explained above, that the Hochma of AB is not revealed except through the ascent of the Partzufim [pl. of Partzuf] to the GAR of Atik. And this has already been explained in the previous parts: that through the illumination of AB SAG the bottom Hey descends from the Einayim of every Partzuf and raises the AHP that had fallen to the lower one back to their first place; for all the AHP of the Rosh [head] of the upper one are clothed in the GE of the Toch, and those of the Toch in the GE of the Sof [end], and so from Partzuf to Partzuf, as is known. And it is found that the AHP of the Rosh of Atik, which are clothed in its HGT, now return to the discernment of its GAR; and it is found that the HGT of Atik, together with the three heads of AA, became the HBD of Atik. And likewise the AHP that are in the HGT of AA return to the discernment of their GAR, and the HGT of AA, together with AVI who clothe upon them, are found rising and becoming the HBD of AA. And then the Dikna [beard] too, which had clothed the HGT of AA, rises to the HBD of AA and to the HBD of Atik, which have now become one discernment. And then the coupling is made in the HBD of Atik upon the MAN [Mayin Nukvin] of the Dikna that entered into the internality, and the level of the revealed AB goes out in the HBD of Atik, and from there it spreads to AVI and ZON.
For the Galgalta of AA has now become the Hochma of Atik, since the Hesed of Atik became its Hochma, as above; and with them the upper Aba too joins, who rose with the Hesed of AA and became the discernment of the Galgalta of AA; and all these are the discernment of the males of the coupling. And in this manner the Mocha Stimaa too has now become the Bina of Atik, by force of the Gevura of Atik that rose and became the Bina of Atik; and with them the upper Ima joins, who rose with the Gevura of AA and became its Mocha Stimaa; and they are the females of the coupling. And in this manner the brain of the air of AA has now become the Daat of Atik, by force of its ascent with the Tifferet of Atik, which has now become its Daat; and with them the two Mazalot, Notzer and VeNakeh, rise, which had clothed the Tifferet of AA, which has now become the brain of the air, which has now become the Daat of Atik, as above. And they are the discernment of the deciding factors of the coupling.
2For the light and the self in KHB spread in the three upper heads” Meaning: that the GAR of Radla [the unknown head] are now found in one discernment with the three upper heads of AA, which are Galgalta, the air, and Mocha Stimaa [the concealed brain]. And likewise they spread “in the forehead and the Dikna [beard] of AA” — for the brain of the air, in which the Daat of Atik is clothed, the two of them are now clothed in the forehead of AA and also in his Dikna, for the Mazalot too rose with the Tifferet of AA and became Daat. Thus the GAR of Atik now spread in the GAR of AA and in his Dikna, and therefore the level of the coupling is found in the discernment of Atik itself, that is, without the garments of MaLTz [Mem-Lamed-Tzadi], but in the discernment of the revealed AB. And you already know that at first the male couples in the discernment of his own Yesod, which is likewise included of male and female, and afterward he bestows that level upon the female, as above. And therefore the males who are included in the upper Hesed of Atik, which became its Hochma, couple upon the MAN [Mayin Nukvin] that is in Notzer Hesed, and the level of the revealed AB goes out. And afterward the males who are included in the Hesed of Atik bestow upon the females who are included in the Gevura of Atik, which became its Bina, upon which Mocha Stimaa clothes, upon the MAN of the Mazal VeNakeh; and the females receive those Mochin, and from there they bestow upon ZON, who are in the Ibur [impregnation] within the upper Ima.
3And the light of the self of Hesed went out, and it is the upper Hesed, and it is the one called, in its going out from there, the pure air. Here he speaks after the birth of the Mochin, when the Parsaot return to their place, as is known. And this is what he says, “and it is the one called, in its going out from there, the pure air” — that is, at the time when the light of the upper Hesed, which is the Hesed of Atik that became Hochma, went out from there, since it descended to clothe in the upper Aba, behold, it is then called the pure air, because then the discernment of the garments of MaLTz [Mem-Lamed-Tzadi] returned upon those Mochin. And it is found that the brain of Hochma that is drawn from the Hesed of Atik to the upper AVI returned and clothed in the Mem of Tzelem [image], which is the discernment of the pure air, that is, covered Hassadim, by force of its clothing in the Izka Dachya [the pure ring], as above. And this Izka is called the spirit that is hidden in Atik Yomin; for at the time of its clothing in the Izka, the Hochma descends again and becomes the Hesed in the VAK of Atik, and it is found that the light of Haya became again the discernment of the light of Ruach. And therefore the Izka is called by the name the spirit that is hidden in Atik Yomin.
And this is what he says, “and it is hidden within the spirit that is hidden in Atik Yomin, and it is in the form of a Guf [body] and a vessel to this pure air” — meaning, that the discernment of the Izka became a vessel that brought the pure air down to the discernment of a Guf. For by its cause the degrees again descended one from the other, and the HBD of Atik again became a Guf and HGT, and with them the GAR of AA again became the garments of the Guf of Atik; and likewise the HBD of AA again descended and became the HGT of the Guf of AA, and with them AVI and the Mazalot again became the garments of the Guf of AA. And all this comes by force of the clothing of the GAR of AB in the Mem of Tzelem, which is the Izka called the spirit that is hidden in Atik Yomin. And understand.
