And by this you will understand what we have explained in the discourse of our sages, who said "the world exists for six thousand years," etc. — for there we explained that the length of the measure of the stature of Adam, in the aspect of the body, held the three worlds BYA when they were at the upper degree, as mentioned. And after he sinned, the aspect of his body, which was at first from the six last [Sefirot] of Yetzira, called the Garden of Eden, as above, was afterward from the material lower Land of Israel, in this lower world of Assiya.
