However, Metatron is now lower in rank than the first Adam HaRishon. Therefore we will make known the matter of Metatron. Know that although they said in the Tikkunim that Metatron is in the world of Yetzira, the matter is that his body — namely his six extremities (VAK) — is in the world of Yetzira, and therefore they call him by the name Yetzira. But the truth is that the head of Metatron is in Beria, his body in Yetzira, and his feet in Assiya; hence the measure of his stature is in the three worlds BYA — but this is when they are now, after their fall. But the body of Adam, from his head to his feet, held the three aforementioned worlds when they were above, according to their degree, as mentioned. And there is no doubt that there is an infinitely great difference between them.
