And we will explain what is the matter of this diminution by which Adam HaRishon was diminished, and who are these aspects that remained within him, called the Challah of the world, which are ten from every Partzuf, and they are two in a hundred. Know that our sages said that Adam HaRishon was judged by the shedding of limbs. And the matter is that at first he was comprised of all the souls that are in all six thousand years of the world's existence, as mentioned, and they were all particular limbs within him. And when he sinned, they departed from him, for the Klipot ruled over him, and they all sank within the Klipot, as is mentioned by us in Parashat Eikev, in the secret of the eating.
