*Know that the blood in the woman is at first turned into milk, as above, and afterward the infant nurses it, and that milk returns to be turned into blood within him, and spreads within the veins and the capillaries and throughout his whole body. And do not be astonished how it returns a second time to be turned into blood. For behold, at first it was blood mixed with wastes and with much dross, as above; and now it is clarified and refined, and therefore it can be turned into milk; and when it enters within ZA it returns to be as at first — blood — only that now it is clear, clean, pure, and clarified blood, and it is the very life of the infant.
